What is the A-Lift facial treatment?
A-lift is a non invasive treatment which helps to make your skin become firmer, rejuvenated and it also helps the elasticity of skin which helps overall complexion and hydration of the skin.

Why does the skin benefit from the A-Lift facial treatment?
Nano/Micro-current treatment is backed by over 20 years research. It was first used to to treat medical conditions such as facial palsy and stroke sufferers. Nano/Micro-current therapy is a form of electrical impulses measured in a millionths of an amp, this mean you feel very little of anything at all when the current is applied to the skin.
When a cell does not function properly it does not generate sufficient electricity for the pump to work, a bit like a torch battery that only has enough energy to make the bulb glow rather than give off a bright beam of light.
In affect, nano/micro-current therapy is able to jump start the cell by giving it the amount of energy needed to start functioning at the correct level. It should be stressed that the levels of current required are so small they can not be felt.
As a result of adding low levels of electrical current, Nano/Micro-current therapy mimics the bodies own electrical impulses therefore accelerating rates of collagen production plumping the skin and erasing fine lines and wrinkles.

The Alift also stimulates the lymphatic system which reduces the amount of fluid in the face. Eye bags can be reduced and dark circles can be visably improved. This is achieved by increasing the blood flow to the skin, allowing it to rid itself of waste and dead cells. The result is a better texture, colour and healthy glow. It can increase the speed at which the skin produces its own connective tissue fibres, elastin and collagen. Enlarged pours can be tightened and scar tissue can be softened.
LONG TERM BENEFITS
During a course of treatments, facial muscles become re-educated learning there new positions. Some people see an improvement and feel a tightening effect after one treatment, although generally it will take a few treatments before you feel a positive effect. We recommend two treatments per week for three weeks and then a Maintance treatment every four weeks. This many vary accordingly to the condition of the skin and clients lifestyle.
How many treatments do you need?
A short course is advised to help get the most out of the treatment. After the short course we recommend that you have a treatment once a month to help you get the full potential of the treatment.

How long does it take?
The treatment takes around 60 minutes but could be longer if a consultation is needed.
What happens on your first A-Lift facial treatment?
The therapist will start by cleansing your skin to ensure any impurities are cleansed away. A thin layer of ECG gel is allied which helps the machine to glide smoothing across your skin to ensure the electro-stimulation waves pulse through the skin.
The first step of the treatment is drainage. This is where the therapists use the electrostimulation to help drain the lymphatic system.
The second step is stimulation. This is where the therapist will stimulate the collagen within your skin and elastin amongst over things.
The last step is lifting. This is where the skin is lifted by the electro-stimulation. You will be able to see the wrinkles are much smoother and less prominent after this stage.
